Two officials of a school in Ajeetgarh, Sikar, have been accused of gang raping a teenage student over a long period of time and later when they discovered that the girl was pregnant, they allegedly in connivance with a local doctor forced her to undergo abortion.
However, the things did not go as planned for the two accused – the school director and teacher – as the girl’s health started deteriorating due to excessive internal bleeding. When she was rushed to hospital by her parents, the girl informed the family of the ordeal.
“The family has registered a case claiming that school director Jagdish Yadav and teacher Jagat Singh had gang raped the girl and got the abortion done without the girl’s consent. A case has been registered against doctor Rajnish Sharma for performing an illegal abortion,” officials said. The girl – whose condition is deteriorating with each passing hour and was unconscious at the time of filing the report- has been referred to Jaipur for proper treatment.
Meanwhile, chairperson of the state commission for children Manan Chaturvedi and chairperson of state women commission Suman Sharma have taken cognizance of the matter, demanding strict action against the accused. The police have initiated a search for the duo.
Molestation cases against school and coaching centers are increasing rapidly. As per the data shared by NCRB, the number of molestation cases in state against teens have increased by eight times in the last five years.
